Land in Andhra Pradesh raises questions that fall outside the ordinary civil courts and go instead before the revenue authorities. We act for landowners, farmers, pattadars, and those affected by acquisition, and also for those defending their recorded rights against wrongful claims.
Our work includes challenges to land acquisition and claims for fair and higher compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, correction of pattas, adangals, and revenue records, mutation and transfer of title in the records, encroachment and boundary disputes, assignment of government land and disputes over assigned lands, and applications for conversion of agricultural land to other use. We appear before the Tahsildar, the Revenue Divisional Officer, the Joint Collector, the District Collector, and the revenue appellate authorities, and we carry these matters by writ to the High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Amaravati and, where the point of law requires, to the Supreme Court of India.
